A port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs.
A port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs. She is on the starboard tack with the sail boomed out to port. The Adams family referred to this boat as "the lifeboat". A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera B and F.N.A. (Francis Norris Adams) is sailing the boat "first time".
