A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs.
A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs. She is on the starboard tack and her stern is hidden behind the sea swell. The Adams family referred to this boat as "the lifeboat". A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera B and F.N.A. (Francis Norris Adams) is sailing the boat "first time".
