A port bow view of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) being held at the water's edge on an unknown beach in Kent. The beach is sandy whereas the beaches at Deal and Walmer are shingle. An unidentified man is holding onto her painter while looking back at the photographer. He is wearing a suit and a deer stalker hat and has a luxurious beard. The Adams family referred to this boat as "the lifeboat".
