A starboard bow view, taken from very fine off the bow, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) beaching under sail at Deal, Kent. Her lug sail is set to port. The dinghy's stern is about to be hit by an incoming wave. The Adams family referred to this boat as "the lifeboat". A vertical format negative.
