A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) under sail in The Downs. She is on the starboard tack and Francis Norris Adams is at the helm. The Adams family refer to this boat as "the lifeboat". The horizon is not level. A note on the vertical format negative says the photographer is using Camera B.
