A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) beached in the shallows at Walmer, Kent.
A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) beached in the shallows at Walmer, Kent. She is almost broadside on to the shore and Edgar Tarry Adams is being given a piggy-back ashore by a man paddling with his trousers rolled up above the knees. Two schoolboys are standing by the bow of the boat. The Adams family refer to this boat as "the lifeboat". Sailing vessels are at anchor in The Downs. The horizon is not level.
