A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the lug rigged dinghy Isabel Adams (Fl. 1890) beaching at Walmer, Kent. Francis Norris Adams is pulling on the painter while his unidentified companion jumps ashore. The lug sail is set to starboard. The Adams family refer to this boat as "the lifeboat". A note on the vertical format negative says the photographer is using Camera B and the time is 5.50 p.m..
