A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the lug rigged yacht Sandpiper (1899) in shallow water, beached at Oldstairs Bay, Kingsdown, Kent. The three boys on board are Gordon Adams, Frank Norris and Percy Norris, and they are using the oars to try to push the boat back into deep water. An unidentified man is in the water with his trouser legs rolled up and he is pushing against the port bow of the boat. A note on the vertical format negative says the photographer is using Camera B.
