Valorous (1851)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the lower deck and a partial inboard profile of the stern section of the Magicienne class paddle frigate Valorous (1851). The drawing bears the signature of John Edye [Assistant Surveyor of the Navy 1832-1855]. and Isaac Watts [Assistant Surveyor 1848-1860]. The plan is fragile and torn in various places. A note dated 30 September 1850 on the drawing states that the sketch of cabins, shell rooms etc need to conform to a later plan rather than this one.
