Wave (purchased 1882)

Scale 1:24. Plan shows the midship section for the wooden screw yacht Edeline built for Earl de la Warr. The plan relates to when Edeline was purchased by the Admiralty and converted at Rutherglen in 1882. The drawing was noted at Devonport Dockyard dated 11 October 1883. The plan bears the signature of J. Angear [Chief Constructor of Devonport Dockyard 1883-1886].

This vessel was originally launched as a yacht in 1874 under the name Edeline and then purchased by the Admiralty in 1882, converted into a tender and renamed Wave. A note on the plan states the Edeline is now known as Wave. The drawing is very fragile.
