A slightly distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the single masted dayboat Drip (Fl. 1897) under sail off Deal, Kent. She is running before the wind on the port tack with her staysail boomed out to port and her mainsail boomed out to starboard. The image is slightly out of focus and the horizon is not quite level. The photographer refers to this boat as the yacht "Drip".
