Triumph (1870)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the inboard profile, as fitted of the Swiftsure class central battery ironclad Triumph (1870). Alterations in burnt sienna ink are present on the drawing. Further alterations in blue ink made at Devonport Dockyard are also on the plan. The drawing bears the signatures of William B. Robinson [Chief Constructor at Portsmouth Dockyard 1869-1881] dated 24 December 1878, William Owen [Chief Constructor at Portsmouth Dockyard 1881-1886] dated 26 March 1883 and J. B. Huddy [Chief Constructor of Devonport Dockyard 1996-1892] dated 28 March 1890. An annotation states to see sketch no. 35161 for alterations made to the vessel during its commision, and is dated 17 November 1882.
