On board the brig Utopia (1860) while she is at anchor in The Downs. The photographer is looking forward and slightly to port from the starboard side of the deck abreast the aft companionway. Six of the crew are on deck and five of them are looking at the camera. The Kent coast is in background. Negatives numbers N19633 to N19638 were taken on the same occasion.
