A port quarter view of the German passenger/cargo liner Cap Ortegal (1903) alongside the Prince of Wales Pier in Dover harbour.
A port quarter view of the German passenger/cargo liner Cap Ortegal (1903) alongside the Prince of Wales Pier in Dover harbour. She is at the Prince of Wales Pier to collect passengers for Buenos Aires. Much of the ship is hidden by the railway station and the top of her mainmast is out of the picture. A steam locomotive with a single passenger coach is alongside the station platform and a tug is alongside the pier. A note on the negative says the photographer is using Camera C. Negative number N19666 was taken on the same day.
