A stern view, taken from very fine off the port quarter, of the Castle Line passenger/cargo liner Dunvegan Castle (1890) alongside a wharf in the East India Dock, Blackwall, London. She is berthed starboard side to the wharf and the tops of her main and mizzen masts are out of the picture. She is working cargo with a number of lighters alongside. A four-masted barque with painted ports is berthed ahead of her and two passenger/cargo steamers are on the left, seen from off the starboard quarter. Negatives numbers N19725 and N19726 were taken on the same occasion.
