Block sheave
Block sheave in lignum vitae with brass coaks in the centre which was used aboard H.M.S. 'Victory'. Broad arrows are inscribed on the wood (two one side, one the other) and on the coak (two cast into each side). Inscribed: 'APT 1809'. From HMS 'Victory' 1765.
