The title of the drawing is "Plan of lower deck adapted as a post ship with the producing (?) power of 200 horses". The plan bears the signature of John W. Edye [Assistant Surveyor of the Navy 1832-1855] and Isaac Watts [1st Assistant Surveyor, 1848-1860]. The plan is fragile and torn in numerous places.
