Euryalus (1877)
Scale 1:24. Plan shows the carved decoration on the galleries and stern proposal drawing for the Bacchante class iron screw corvette Euryalus (1877). The title of the drawing is "Sketch of Proposed Carved Work and Rails on stern with Reference to Office's Letter of this day". A note on the plan states "The drops shewn at positions marked a are already in store and can only be appropriated for this ship". A further note states "13995 only the drops to be fitted". The drawing bears the signature of R. P. Saunders [Chief Constructor of Chatham Dockyard 1872-1883].
