Study of an A-class submarine under way, possibly in Portsmouth Harbour (unfinished)

Medium includes graphite.This is a rough sketch of an A-class submarine (a class launched in 1902-05) and is reasonably accurate with regards to to hull and conning tower shape and size. The masts to rear right may be those of HMS 'Victory'.
