A smith making a chain at his bench in Number 5 Machine Shop in Chatham Dockyard. He is using an hacksaw to cut off the spare steel of the link that is being held in a vice. There is some image movement. A vertical format image. Transparencies numbers PCT3365 to PCT3378 were taken during the same operation.
