A cylindrical tinned sheet-metal stearine lamp lid for the 6 pint cooking apparatus (AAA4008 and part numbers) made for the British Arctic Expedition, 1875-76, led by Captain George Nares. The lamp lid fits onto the stearine lamp (AAA4008.5).
