A view looking forward of the motor tanker Lord Mount Stephen (1966) at sea. The photographer is standing on the starboard side of the bridge wing, looking forward and slightly to port. A pair of king post masts are in the middle ground and a navigation light mast is the background just aft of the forecastle. A green port side tank hatch, with the letter "4C" painted in white is in the middle ground. A green starboard tank hatch with the letters "SS" painted in white is also in the middle ground. Pipes extend down the centre line from the forecastle to the superstructure. Two pump houses are forward of the king posts masts either side of the pipes on the centre line. This is Slide 2 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor tanker Lord Mount Stephen (1966), owned by Canadian Pacific Steamship Co. Ltd from 4 July 1971 to 24 October 1971. This series consists of 27 slides.
