Box for auriscope
Black box with blue satin and velvet lining for auriscope. The inside of the box is divided into several shapes to welcome the different auriscope attachments. The outer bottom right edge of the box base reads the printed inscription 'MADE IN ENGLAD'. Inside the box a partly faded label reads ' TO PREVENT CORROSION OF THE HANDLE THE (...) SHOULD BE REMOVED WHEN EXHAUSTED'.
Belonged to Mr Victor Brooks, a purser with the New Zealand Shipping Co and Port Line 1941-1972. He worked for Cunard until his retirement in 1979.
