Numerous small craft are moored off the starboard side of the bow and stern of the liner. 4 buildings are on the harbour front in the middle ground. A mountain is in the background with numerous houses situated on its slope. This is Slide 8 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Watchkeeping Officer for the cable ship John W. Mackay (1922) owned by Commercial Cable Company of London from 26 November 1975 to 24 April 1976. This series consists of 33 surviving slides.
