A street view looking Shenton Way in Singapore. The photographer is standing on the western side of the street looking south down Shenton Way. A partial view of the Hong Leong Building skyscraper is just to the right on the eastern side of the street in the foreground. A partial view of the Lau Pa Sat food market building is in the middle ground on the right side of the image. Numerous vehicles are underway on the road extending from the foreground to the middle ground. The DBS Tower and the former CPF (Central Provident Fund Board) Buildings are in the background. This is Slide 12 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer for the motor coaster Sea Rhine (1978) owned by Freight Express Seacon of London from 25 February 1978 to 19 April 1978. This series consists of 18 slides.
