On board the spritsail rigged coasting barge Her Majesty (1897) bound down in the Thames estuary. She has a substantial cargo of wooden cases and barrels stacked on her hatch covers and decks. The photographer is looking forward from the port side abreast the mizzen mast. The bowsprit is topped and the barge is sailing under a boomed foresail and the mainsail. Two crew are ahead of the mast looking aft at the photographer. Negatives numbers P75151, P75152, P75203 to P75208, P75293 and P75309 were taken on the same vessel.
