Hastings luggers

This negative shows the Hastings lugger Henry Harris stern-on, beached to the left of another lugger, also shown in negative P75381, whose name is indecipherable. To starboard of the central propeller of the Henry Harris is a smaller, two-bladed propeller whose shaft tube pierces the boat's eliptical stern planking. The mizzen lugsails of both boats illustrated are shown brailed to their spars. A lamp hangs from the mizzen mast of the Henry Harris.
