Eastbourne sprat boat

This portrait view of the ca. 25ft lute-sterned, clinker-built Eastbourne lugger William and Dorothy, regd NN145, beached but with dipping lug foresail and boomed standing lug mizzen hoisted, is taken from the boat's port stern quarter, showing the rudder post piercing the upper part of the lute stern, the mizzen mast being stepped to starboard of it.
