BA256 and BA235 are two Annan shrimpers ca. 35ft in length, seen at Annan Waterfoot. BA235 is seen bow-on, its long bowsprit in the foreground, while BA256 is under sail in very light wind, jib and staysail both set but the latter not fully hoisted. This photograph is reproduced in The Chatham Directory of Inshore Craft, whose editors note the vessels' resemblance to the Morecambe Bay prawners from which their design derived.
