Selsey beach boats
A clinker-built Selsey fishing boat regd LI42 is seen from the port side aground on shingle with a wooden pier in the background. The boat is heeled to port and towards the camera, revealing sternsheets, central thwart, forward thwart with tholepins in place, and two long sweeps resting on these thwarts. Parts of three similar boats are visible beyond LI42, including the gunwale of LI191.
