The double-ended coble Sarah Ann at Sunderland, Durham.
A starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the double-ended coble Sarah Ann beached on wooden baulks alongside the pilot house near the old North Pier, Sunderland. She has the port registry 20S on her hull side and was used by the pilots. A bowler hatted man is looking out of the first floor window of the pilot house. A duplicate negative produced by Saxons, 7 New Durham Road, Sunderland, in March 1972 from the original taken by Mr Stanley Hutchinson's father.
