A paddle tug towing a three masted topsail schooner off the River Wear, Durham.

A distant port broadside view of an unidentified paddle tug towing a 3-masted topsail schooner in the North Sea off the River Wear. The tug appears to have two names on her bow and has a single funnel which is painted with four bands of alternate black and white. The schooner is in ballast and is using two jib sails and two main staysails. A duplicate negative produced by Saxons, 7 New Durham Road, Sunderland, in March 1972 from the original taken by Mr Stanley Hutchinson's father.
