The passenger/cargo liner Ceramic (1948) under way at sea.

A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Ceramic (1948) under way at sea. She has been fitted with a Thornycroft cowl to her funnel and the pair of derrick posts forward of the funnel have been removed. A heavily retouched copy negative of a photographic print in which the ship's name on the bow and bridge board have been enhanced and the white line on the upper hull has been obliterated.
