The captain's accommodation on the cruiser Imperieuse (1883)
An officer's cabin aft on the port side of the upper deck of the armoured cruiser Imperieuse (1883), flagship of the China Station. Personal photographs, a silk screen, potted plants and ornaments are much in evidence. This is believed to be the captain's cabin but a name plate in the top left corner says "Commander's Stores".
