The Han River at Hankow

A general view from the Han River of waterside buildings at Hankow. Those closest to the river are of timber construction supported on stilts, whilst those beyond the wall are whitewashed brick constructions and they have Chinese writing on them. A number of local boats are at the river bank with a small boat being sculled in the foreground.
