A very distant starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the 3rd class protected cruiser Porpoise (1886) at anchor in the harbour of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky with the steamship Danube (1869), a distant starboard side view from well ahead of the beam, also at anchor. The Danube was acting as the coal and supply ship for the Porpoise and is in a more lightly loaded condition than in negative number P27676.
