A Russian settlement in the Bering Sea area

A settlement of single storey log cabins with pitched roofs scattered around a church building of similar construction. Snow capped mountains are very dimly discernible in the far distance. The location is probably the Commander (Komandorski) Islands or the Lower Kamschatka area.
