Deadman's Wet Dock and Deptford Wharf, London
Looking north-east across Deadman's (or Dudman's) Wet Dock and the London, Brighton & South Coast Railway Depot on Deptford Wharf. The Robertson coaster Turquoise (1893) is berthed alongside the north side of the dock basin at low tide and is almost dried out. She is seen from off her port side, ahead of the beam. Large rafts of timber and a number of waterman's boats are on the mud in the basin. Another coaster is just inside Deadman's Dock which is in the middle of the railway yard. This is a copy negative by the NMM studio of a photographic print that was in two parts but has been repaired with document repair tape.
