Japanese and Russian ships at the Coronation Review, Spithead, 1911
original art: drawing. This is the Japanes battlecruiser 'Kurama', launched 21 October 1907, completed 28 February 1911 and broken up 1924-1925. She is anchored in Line F at the Spithead Coronation Review for King George V on 24 June 1911. The vessel to starboard is the Russian armoured cruiser 'Rossia' (1896). [BT 3/13]
