Cape St Vincent
Medium includes graphite. Wyllie's 1901 booklet on 'Marine Painting in Water Colour' includes a fair-weather view of Cape St Vincent (no., 22, f. p. 54) seen more distantly from the north taekn on th Solar Eclipse Expedition to Spain in 1900. This drawing shows Portuguese fishing boats off the Cape in rougher weather and may date from that period or later. [PvdM 6/18]
