This is tied around her front, with what may be a knot over her chest. Above this, the top of a white or light-coloured blouse can be seen covering her shoulders and the upper part of her torso. She wears a conical hat with a different striped pattern. A portion of her braided, neck–length hair hangs down underneath this. Her right ear is also visible under the bottom of the hat. The lower part of her legs and feet are out of frame. The striped garment round her torso includes a pouch on her back, which is holding a baby. Only its head is visible. Its right ear is facing the camera and its head is tilted upwards. Its eyes are closed. To the right of the image, mostly obscured by the woman and her clothes, is a wooden chair.
