HMS 'Loyal', destroyer
Inscribed 'Loyal' by the artist in pencil, lower right. A very basic colour-blocking sketch of a three-funnelled L-class destroyer in broad starboard-bow view. There were 16 in the class, including 'Loyal' (1913). The ship is shown in black livery, 1914-16.
