The steam collier 'Ellar'
Ship portrait. Michael Charles has suggested this 19th-century ship portrait may (like BHC2398) be by Atkinson who worked in the Liverpool and North Wales area. The style is certainly very similar but further investiagtion is needed, including of a possible signature, lower left. [PvdM 2/21]
