Steam-Ship City of Baltimore Screw propeller between New York and Liverpool
Hand-coloured lithograph print depicting the steam ship City of Baltimore. Chartered by the French as a transport to the Crimea even before she was launched. She belonged to the Inman Line and was considered a fast ship. In 1874 she belonged to the Hall Line and had the name Fivaller, and in 1882 owned by Spaniards and named Benicarlo, where she was re-engined and run as a tramp. (H. Parker and F. C.
