An original watercolour by Nicholas Cammillieri, depicting 'Cosmopolitan' from her starboard broadside, sails unfurled and heading out of Malta in calm waters. The picture is inscribed: "Brig Schooner Cosmopolitan of Ipswich Davis Bretton Master, in a Palac [sic], Feby 25th, 1842. Lat 38.00N. Long 9.30E."
