The state vessel Bucentaur moored alongside the Doge's Palace, Venice
Oil painting depicting the state barge Bucentaur (1728), shown at the quayside outside the Doge's Palace, Venice. Napoleon had the Bucentaur destroyed in 1798. The painting has been attributed to Michele Marieschi, but this has been disputed.
