The English & French Fleets in the Baltic, 1854. Arrival of General Baraguay D'Hilliers at Ledsund, in His Imperial Majesty's Yacht La Reine Hortense

The Inflexible is shown in starboard-bow view 2nd from the right, the 1st ship being Belle Isle in the distance, depicted in starboard-quarter view. La Reine Hortense is depicted off-centre in port-broadside view, steam blowing from her single funnel, and to her left is the Duke of Wellington, hidden behind smoke. Several unidentified rowing boats feature in the foreground, bearing French flags. A small sailing boat, identified as the Sparrowhawk, is located between La Reine Hortense and the Inflexible in the image, shown starboard broadside. The left background is identified by an inscription as the ‘entrance of passage to Bomarsund’. Plate XV.
