Official ship's badge of HMS Norfolk
Ship's badge HMS Norfolk 1928. Depiction of a feather. Official design. Naval crown. Pentagonal shape. Colours and motto differ from Admiralty Ships' Badges Committee description. Pattern approved circa 1924. No bolt holes for attachment to vessel. Badge originally attached to ship's honours board. Crest-back comprises separate pieces of wood, including carvings of 2 dolphins.
