Ship's badge HMS Pellew 1954. Official design. On a field barry wavy of eight white and pale blue, a lion passant guardant gold between two laurel chaplets green (actually coloured gold). 'PELLEW' in name tabletCircular shape with rope twist border. Naval crown above. Pattern approved in April 1955. Part of the arms of Edward Pellew, Viscount Exmouth (1757-1833).
