Ship's bell
Ship's bell of HMS 'Lydiard' (1913). The bell has a 10 7/8 inch diameter and is incised with the inscription on the waist: 'H.M.S. LYDIARD. 1913.' It has a solid argent which formerly had four canons arranged on a square, two opposite ones have been removed. The two that remain have tapering bases. No wires but there are mouldings on crown and soundbow. Round section cast-in crown staple. Soundbow 5/8 inch thick.
